The Origin

One recurring frustration.
Matt Reeder has been building things on the internet since before Google existed. Forty years writing software. Thirty years in e-commerce. Platforms that have served over 200 million people. He's been in the room when companies scaled, and he's been in the room when they stumbled — usually for the same reason.
The problem was never strategy. It was execution at the operational layer. The thousand daily decisions that need to happen (the follow-ups, the pipeline management, the vendor negotiations, the team coordination) that eat the CEO's calendar alive. Work that a good VP of Operations or Chief of Staff would handle, if you could afford one.
In 2012, Matt founded a digital practice building platforms for mid-market companies. Over the following decade, the same pattern played out at client after client: the $5M company that needed an executive team but could only afford one person. The founder who was brilliant at product but spending 60% of their day on operational busywork that was slowly suffocating the business.
When large language models became capable enough to actually reason and execute — not just summarize — conduk became possible. Not another chatbot. Not another dashboard. An actual team of AI executives with distinct personalities, real domain expertise, and the ability to get things done.
